Management and Advisory

Eugenia Lo - Chief Executive Officer

Eugenia brings to SOW Asia extensive advisory and consulting expertise accumulated from both the professional services and non-profit sectors. The combination of such experiences will be a key asset to driving SOW Asia towards its next milestone, delivering successful businesses with scalable impact.  As a former Partner at a “Big Four” accounting firm and a Managing Director at a US risk-consultancy firm, Eugenia advised a multitude of different organisations including multi-national corporations, local corporations, financial institutions and private equity firms. Prior to joining SOW Asia, Eugenia supported several non-profit organizations as well as social ventures in Hong Kong. Eugenia graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is also an ACA (ICAEW) and an Associate Member of the HKICPA.

Demetrius Yuen - Director of Programs

As one of the founding directors of SOW Asia for a few years, Demetrius had the desktop view of young companies that wanted to do good. He is now on the front line as the Director of Programs in helping these young companies directly to grow with the hope that they will continue to make positive impacts to the society in the years to come. He does this by bringing his experience in fundraising, entrepreneurship, board directorship, non-profit, restructuring and mergers and acquisitions from various organisations such as start-ups, investment banks, private equities, international and listed corporations. Demetrius graduated from Boston University, the University of Southern California and the Ivey Business School at the Western University, Canada in various degrees and program.

Moon Kim - Senior Advisor

Moon founded Peony Investments, a Hong Kong-based investment and advisory firm providing strategic and financial advice to green businesses in Asia Pacific, and also works with Spring Capital on Chinese cleantech investment opportunities as their Venture Partner.

Moon has almost 20 years of experience in the energy and environmental sectors serving in roles ranging from venture capital/growth equity investment, entrepreneurship, investment banking, strategic consulting, and engineering. Prior to founding Peony Investments, Moon ran Nomura’s principal investing business in cleantech across Asia and worked at DFJ Element Ventures based in Silicon Valley. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors at a small-hydro company based in Shenzhen and has also served on the Board of Directors at a solar energy company based in Delhi. Moon earned her BS in Environmental Engineering from Harvard University and an MBA, with a major in Finance, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

As Senior Advisor to the SOW Asia team, Moon provides advisory support in fund raising, investment opportunity sourcing and execution, and portfolio management.

Michael Tang - Senior Advisor

Mike is the CEO of The Location Company and Director of Queclink Wireless Solutions Ltd. (Shanghai) and Artemis Telematics Ltd.  For five years, Mike served as a Board member of SOW Asia and still serves as Advisor.  He also serves as a Board member of HK Recycles.  Mike holds a degree from City University of London.

Prudence Wong - Program Associate

Prudence implements and supports the running of SOW Asia's accelerator program to assist young businesses to grow successfully with a scalable impact. Previously, she has worked in an international financial institution in Hong Kong as a Trade Support Officer. She managed the trading operations to support Equity Derivative traders in their trading activities. Prior to her time in banking, she worked in a charity headquartered in London that also partners with a social enterprise. She supported the functions of Finance, Fundraising and Events departments within the charity. She recently cycled 300 km in three days around southern Taiwan in a team of 25 cyclists to raise HKD 2 million collectively for a charity in Hong Kong. Prudence graduated from Imperial College London and Brunel University of West London.

Emily Leung - Program Administrator

Emily serves as the Program Administrator at SOW Asia.  She has served SOW Asia in various capacities for over 7 years providing bookkeeping and general administrative support.
